Marion Elizabeth Pryor

Marion Elizabeth Green Pryor was born October 4, 1936, in Memphis Tennessee. The only child of Mrs. Elizabeth G. Jones, later they moved to Indianapolis Indiana. She was educated and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1955. A few years later on May 15,1959 she was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Charles Pryor Sr. Four children, Michele, Mark, Monica, and Charles Jr.—were born from that union. They were married for sixty plus years.

She expressed her faith in Christ and was a member of New Life Worship Center until her illness.

Her employment history began at RCA Corporation. She later served as a Computer Operator at Aero Mayflower Corporation and was subsequently promoted to Contract Analyst for Bindley Western Pharmaceutical, an integrative supplier, before retiring.

She loved bowling and traveling, combining her two passions. She competed in city, state, and national bowling tournaments, connecting with people from across the United States.

She was a member of The Women's Bowling Club for over twenty years and fostered a strong sense of sisterhood and extended family that persisted beyond the bowling activities.

Marion also enjoyed scrabble, PO-KE-NO and playing cards with friends and loved ones.

She passed away on May 20, 2026, on her beloved husband's birthday, Mr. Charles W. Pryor Sr., at the age of 89 years and 7 months.

Preceding her in death was her husband Charles W. Pryor Sr. and her mother Elizabeth G. Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Michele Whitley, son Mark Pryor, daughter Monica Pryor Walston (Jack), son Charles W. Pryor Jr. (Renee), Gloria Buchanan, Kenneth Pryor, Sister In-Law Muriel P. Bransford, (Big Sis) Dora Darden, seven Grand Children, fourteen Great Grand Children, one Niece and Special Care Giver Keisha Roney.
