The ABC Recovery Center encompasses a seven-acre campus, one block long, occupying both sides of a tranquil street in a suburban neighborhood in Indio, California. ABC Recovery Center Campus
One side includes a Sub-Acute Detox facility, a Men's Residence, a Women's residence, a Dining Hall, a laundry facility, a Men's Dormitory and a one-story two suite accommodation for men. The other side includes a 10 bungalow Transitional Living Village, with private rooms, patios and a fountain; The McGovern House, a six room facility with private playground for new mothers & their children; a Sober Living Village with 12 units featuring kitchenettes along with an Outpatient Center and the Administration Building/Community Center.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. 💜

This day, observed every August 31st, is the world's largest annual campaign dedicated to ending overdose, remembering those who have died without stigma, and acknowledging the grief of the families and friends left behind. Its message endures: Time to remember. Time to act.

For ABC Recovery Center, today is deeply personal. Every person we've walked alongside, every family we've supported, every alumni story we've witnessed, exists because someone reached out, and someone was ready to help. 🕊️

Our commitment to be a safe harbor for those who have lost everything to addiction is not just a phrase. It's why we exist. Today we remember the lives lost, we stand with the families whose grief is often invisible, and we renew our promise to be here for every person still fighting for their recovery. 💙

Addiction never affects just one person. And neither does recovery. 👨‍👩‍👧

Our Family Program at ABC Recovery Center is dedicated to supporting the family members who have been impacted by their loved one's substance use disorder. It includes a two day, in person workshop that meets every month!

Rooted in the CRAFT method (Community Reinforcement and Family Training), the program explores addiction, family systems, boundaries, communication skills, and recovery for the entire family. 💙

Best of all, the program is free and open to family members. If you love someone in recovery, this is for you.
