Life isn’t always about adding another habit.

Sometimes it’s about putting something down.

✨ Day 13 of 20

08/18/2026

I’ve been a high school teacher for years now, and both of my parents were teachers, so maybe this shouldn’t surprise me.

I genuinely believe what we learn is meant to be shared. If something makes my life better, easier, healthier, more meaningful, I’m probably going to tell somebody about it.

Also, I grew up in the ‘each one, teach one 80’s’ 😅

Sharing is one of my love languages. And gatekeeping is lame 🤷🏾‍♀️

✨ Day 12 of 20

08/15/2026

I stopped making one form of movement do all the work for me.

Strength training builds strength and muscle. Walking keeps me moving. Yoga helps me reconnect with my body, reset my nervous system, and feel good in my skin.

Each practice has its purpose.

Finding balance isn’t about finding the one perfect workout. It’s about building a movement practice that supports the life you want to live.

✨ Day 10 of 20

08/13/2026

I used to until I felt motivated and I didn’t keep my word to myself. The self sabotage was in full effect because my mindset was hyper focused on my mood.

Now I know better.

Motivation is lovely muse when she shows up. But she is not particularly reliable and difficult to push through.

Habit is different. Habit is like, we’re doing this because this is what we do.

You don’t need to reinvent yourself every Monday. You need a few things that you practice consistently until they become part of who you are.

The walk.
The workout.
The meditation.
The nutrition.
The sleep.
The moment to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself.

Not glamorous. Not always exciting.
Just repeated.

Because the life you want is not really built by the things you feel like doing and more by the things you’ve decided are worth doing.

Honestly, it’s really the ultimate form of choosing yourself.

✨ Day 9 of 20

On a sidenote, I actually like the pulp, but if you want a smoother drink blend it and strain it and it. Then you can still enjoy all the benefits.

I think next week I’m going to make a spicy and fruity, hard-working water, or maybe a kombucha cocktail. Watch this space!

Random workouts will keep you moving.

A goal-oriented program will move you toward a specific result.

All movement counts. But if you have a goal, train for it.

✨ Day 8 of 20

08/10/2026

Stop waiting to become the version of yourself you think you’re supposed to be. Love you right now. Exactly as you are right now.

You’re already there.
