It was such a pleasure to take all the men out to dinner for the holiday season from Primary Purpose House to fellowship and to show them how proud we are of them and what they are doing with their lives.

Thank you to our house managers for all their daily care and investment in our residents, we are not just a sober house .. we are a home because of you guys!

We are beyond thankful for every person who has chosen Recovery, so thankful that there is a way out, and to witness so many men come through our home to find freedom from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body

It's with great pleasure to introduce our new Director of Operations at Primary Purpose Men's Recovery Home .

I landed at Brazos Recovery in 2021 coming off several years of trying to get sober. There I was given an environment to get entirely honest with myself, others, and God; something which I had never done. After going through Brazos Recovery Services, I came to Primary Purpose with very little to my name. I was there for the next 18 months, the last 7 of which I became the house manager. It was then that I learned not only how to live in recovery but show others how to as well; for me that centered around discipline and God. Shortly after leaving Primary Purpose, I was offered a job to help and give back there. It opened a door to a perfect opportunity to share the same hope and direction that was given to me. Today, I am able to show up in numerous different aspects of life. I am able to be apart of my family, be present in relationships, provide for myself and others, and live a fulfilling life; all things I would like to help others achieve.

This is Kyle's Story.

My name is Kyle Pendley, I'm 34 years young and a recovered he**in addict. I've spent the last 12 years in addiction with drugs and alcohol. Went to 1st treatment in 2014 but wasn't ready to do the deal after getting out. Fast forward to May of 2022 I was tired of living that life and feeling like I had no purpose to live other than for drugs. While in treatment I was willing to do anything and whatever they suggested for me to do. After completing treatment I came to Primary Purpose, where my life started to begin and get better. I was serious about my sobriety and doing the deal this time around. Primary Purpose showed me everyday life discipline, new way to live (SOBER), how to be responsible, and to actually be able to save and put money back. Life today is great and just shows me that my higher power has my back. I have a purpose to live and be here today.

This Is Andrew's Story.

My name is Andrew Biar and I am a 32 year old recovered he**in addict. I’ve spent the last 4 years chasing that statement. I spent 10 years prior to that chasing drugs and alcohol. When I came to Primary Purpose in 2021 I was getting out of treatment for the third time, spending 18 months in rehab in a span of 3 years. I knew the solution, but I had yet to apply it. Primary Purpose was instrumental in cementing a schedule that enforced discipline and supported community; two things that I had conveniently avoided up to that point. I had had enough and decided to give recovery everything I had. I spent the next year and half there and it changed my life. For the first time I was happy and sober. My life today is hard to explain and make sense of. I live a life that I do not deserve, it’s filled with purpose and peace.

Asa Reeves service will be Thursday, December 1st at 11 am at St. James Episcopal Church, 1803 Highland Hollow Dr., Conroe, TX 77304. There will be a reception in the church's parish hall afterwards where there will be a slide show covering Asa's all too short life. We love and miss you brother. You will always have a special place in our hearts. I will be setting up 1 permanent scholarship bed reserved in memory of Asa for people who can not afford the opportunity for sober living dedicated in his name....❤️
