We've had a few questions about the “conditioning” part of our new Strength & Conditioning class, so lets clear that up!
Strength is exactly what it sounds like—we’ll use dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, body weight and other equipment to build strength throughout the entire body.
Conditioning simply means training your body to handle activity better. We’ll work on things like stamina, muscular endurance, coordination and your ability to recover between bouts of movement.🙂
That might look like different carries, step-ups, medicine ball work, faster-paced strength circuits, low-impact cardio intervals or putting a few exercises together with shorter rest periods.
And NO—you do not have to run, jump or already be “in shape” to take our new class.
Everything can be adjusted for your fitness level. You choose your weights, your pace and your version of the movement.
The goal isn't to see who can survive the workout. 😂
The goal is to help your body become stronger and more capable of handling real life!
