Hey everyone, we'd like to introduce you to the newest member of our Inver Grove Heights Speech Team - Brianna! Brianna received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She has enjoyed supporting all ages in a variety of settings, including clinics, home services, and schools. She comes from a large family and was the “built-in babysitter” for her nieces and nephews which helped spark her passion for working with children and supporting their development from birth. In her free time, you could find her hiking through state parks with her fiance, baking, quilting, and obsessing over her plants growing a new leaf.

Meet Alondra, our new Patient Care Coordinator for Inver Grove Heights and welcome to the team! She will be working with Shannon (who is now back through the summer).

I grew up in Inver Grove Heights and graduated from Simley High School.
I love working with children and helping them learn, grow, and reach their potential. In the future, I hope to continue my education and earn my nursing degree. I'm excited for the opportunities ahead!

In my free time, I enjoy painting, taking long trail walks with my family, and vacationing at the beach on sunny, warm days. I also love animals, nature, and fishing.

Yo he vivido en inver grove heights por 3 años, yo fui a Simley High School. Yo he trabajado en organizaciones benéficas recaudando fondos para niños con autismo. Mi meta es continuar en la universidad y tener mi degree de enfermería de niños.

En mi tiempo libre me gusta el arte, ir a caminar, viajar y pasar el tiempo en la naturaleza con mi familia.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to our PT, Steve, er....I mean Sammi! 🎉
Hard to believe that Sammi joined us just 1 year ago but she jumped right in and has been such a great addition to the team. Sammi is smart, creative and silly which the kiddos love! And she may run more laps than anyone else in the building so don't even bother challenging her to a race. Thank you Sammi for being part of the family and the PT team!

Happy 3 Year Anniversary to our PT, Hailey! 🎉

Hailey has worked in both of our locations over the last 3 years and has brought spirit and fun to everyone near to her. Whether it's working on bike riding, swim therapy or sprinting down the hallway....again, Hailey makes therapy interesting and exciting which can be hard to do. Her sense of humor is amazing and her kiddo's love her. Thank you Hailey for being part of the family and the PT team!

Happy 4 Year Anniversary to our PT, Ann! 🎉

For 4 years, Ann has been such a calming presence for the kids and families she works with. Whether a child wants to see everything yellow in the clinic, only wants to go down the slide, or is hiding under a table… Ann has an incredible ability to meet them where they are and follow their lead. 😆

She makes therapy feel safe, fun, and meaningful while somehow always staying calm and collected (a true PT superpower). Behind the scenes, Ann has also continued growing professionally — stepping into leadership and completing additional training to become a pediatric pelvic floor therapist.

We are so lucky to have her on the Therapy OPS team. Happy 4 years, Ann! 💙

Today is CDG Awareness Day! The World CDG Organization (WCDGO) encourages our friends all over the world to choose their own activities and events on World CDG Day to help raise awareness of what CDG is, what it means to live with CDG, and how people with CDG deserve equal opportunities among their peers. This is a special family with our community and we'd like to help bring some awareness to CDG. 💚CDG is a rare genetic disease that Serenity, Kaylee and Olivia live with. Here are just some of their symptoms: Ataxia, Congestive Delay, Hypertension, Strabismus, cerebellar hypoplasia, abnormal bleeding or clotting, and liver disease and heart disease. 💚

💚The three girls have gone through 3 eye surgeries, a stroke, a heart surgery, a feeding tube placement surgery and soon a Port placement for Kaylee. 💚

💚CDG affects every aspect of the girls lives and if we all come together to help bring awareness to the disease we can come together to find a cure or at least successfully treatment’s!!! 💚
