Nature Coast Physical Therapy & Rehab Nature Coast Physical Therapy was founded by Jaya Gurnani in 1995 and has since then expanded to two convenient locations; Inverness and Beverly Hills!

Physical therapy is to make daily tasks and activities easier. In physical therapy we treat back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, sports injuries, pediatrics, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, lymphedema and vestibular disorders. Physical therapy consists of manual therapy, education and techniques such as heat, ice, water, ultrasound, electrical stimulation and traction.

Our rehabilitation outpatient clinic is currently in need of a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

-Administer treatment programs as established by Physical Therapists
-Focus on providing the highest quality treatment for patients that allows for excellent patient outcomes
-Implement patient treatment plans with guidance from the Physical Therapist
-Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities and home exercise programs

Qualifications and Skills:

-Associate Degree in Physical Therapy
-Current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
-Valid Driver’s License
-Current CPR and first aid certification
-1+ years’ clinical experience
-Must possess a caring and compassionate demeanor
-Home health experience an asset

The entire staff, including the receptionist, was very professional, caring and friendly. From making appointments, to changing appointments, to the actual therapy sessions. I felt at ease and reassured I would reach my ultimate goal and was given exercises to maintain my strength and flexibility over the long term.
