One Day With God

One Day With God We belie “Encouraging people to set aside one day each week to rest, disconnect from digital distractions, and reconnect with God and loved ones.”

One Day with God is a community devoted to honoring the sacred rhythm God established from the very beginning: after six days of creation, He rested—not out of weariness, but to delight in His work, to renew, and to show us the beauty of balance.

Today I chose to slow down and spend my day with God.
Not in a grand place, not with loud moments—just in the quiet spaces of the day.

In the morning, I thanked Him for the gift of life.
In the middle of my work, I paused and remembered that every task is also a chance to serve Him.
And in the evening, I reflected on His goodness and faithfulness throughout the day.

Sometimes we search for God in big miracles, but often He is present in the simple things:
a peaceful heart,
a moment of silence,
a word from Scripture,
or the strength to keep going.

One day with God reminds me that life is not just about being busy—it’s about being anchored in His presence. When we walk with Him, even ordinary days become meaningful.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

Take a moment today to pause and spend time with God. Even a few minutes of prayer or reflection can change your entire day. If this message speaks to you, feel free to share it and encourage someone to walk closer with God today.

As this new year begins, let us choose to walk with Him—trusting His plans, leaning on His grace, and believing that even one day in His presence brings peace, strength, and direction.

Here’s to a year guided by faith, covered by grace, and filled with hope.
Happy New Year ✨🙏

Reflection

As I step into my third week of One Day With God, I am reminded that every encounter with Him brings renewal — a quiet strength, a clearer purpose, and a deeper peace that the world cannot give.

Each week, I am learning to pause and listen — not just to pray, but to truly be with Him. The noise of the world grows softer, and His voice becomes my guide.

This journey is not about perfection, but about presence — showing up, surrendering, and letting God shape my heart one day at a time.

Welcome to One Day With God!

This page is dedicated to honoring the gift of rest that God Himself modeled after creation. Here, we believe that setting aside one day each week to stop working, disconnect from digital distractions, and spend time with God and loved ones is not just obedience—it’s healing.

Join us as we learn to Rest. Reconnect. Renew.
Together, let’s create a rhythm of worship, peace, and wellness for our souls, minds, and bodies. 💛
