A preconference workshop kicked off the 33rd National Evidence-Based Practice Conference focusing on Leading the Change: Applying the Iowa Model for EBP Success. At the recent University of Iowa Health Care 33rd National Evidence-Based Practice Conference, several outstanding nurses were honored for their impactful work. Claire Ronnebaum and Donna Dolezal received the Laura Cullen Outstanding EBP Abstract Award for their project, “Teach-Back Method and Eye-Level Communication for Improved Home Care Instructions”. Randi Boell was awarded the Graduate Student EBP Project/Capstone Poster Award for the project, “Optimizing Referral Processes and Care Transitions in Rural Health”. Congratulations!
