As our Braves get ready for two-a-days today they reviewed important concussion awareness and heat illness prevention information to help them recognize the signs and symptoms and understand when to speak up.

Knowledge saves lives. If you experience a headache, dizziness, confusion, nausea, excessive fatigue, muscle cramps, or any other concerning symptoms, tell a coach or athletic trainer immediately. Playing through an injury or heat illness is never worth the risk.

Remember:
🏈 Hydrate before, during, and after practice.
☀️ Fuel your body with proper nutrition.
😴 Get plenty of rest each night.
🧠 Report any signs or symptoms of a concussion right away.
💪 Look out for your teammates.
