We are a nonprofit organization that relies on volunteerism, fundraising, and memorials.

Sunset House offers an alternative living arrangement for two persons who are in the final stages of a terminal illness and cannot be cared for in their own home.

A big thank-you to the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce for another wonderful night at the Genier Charity Mini Golf Tournament, benefiting Sunset House!

Every year, the Chamber steps up to support Sunset House and helps raise much-needed funds for our mission. We are so grateful for their continued generosity and commitment to Sunset House. It truly makes a difference!

Sunset House is looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and hands-on Director to join our Sunset House family and lead our comfort care home.

This is more than a leadership position. It's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residence and their families while working alongside a caring team of staff, volunteers, board members, and community supporters, who believe in the mission of the Sunset House.

A Huge Thank You to Some Very Special Supporters! 💙

The Hospice Regatta may have been a few weeks ago, but we’re still thinking about—and feeling incredibly grateful for—everyone who helped make the event such a success.

We’re not sure everyone knows this, but Peter Mendick, Sandy Simpson, and Kirk Simpson went above and beyond their generous financial support. They also donated all of the bourbon for our bourbon tasting!

Their generosity and willingness to step up and help made such a difference. It’s support like this that makes the Hospice Regatta possible and helps us continue the mission of Sunset House Hospice.
