Moving Day is an annual fundraising walk event that inspires and empowers those with Parkinson's Disease (PD) and unites them with their loved ones to fight against the disease.

UCI Health is now enrolling participants at risk for for a new clinical trial.
UCI Health Cardiologist, Ailin Barseghian, MD, is leading a study to evaluate the effects of an investigational CT cardiac imaging guided care strategy vs the current standard approach of the risk factor-based prevention strategy in populations with type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and/or metabolic syndrome (with more intensive treatment in those found to have more atherosclerosis).

To qualify for the study you:
• Are a man ≥ 55 years of age or a woman ≥ 65 years of age
• Have diabetes, prediabetes, and/or metabolic syndrome
• Have no known cardiovascular disease
