You know, what really makes therapy work isn't just the stuff we talk about, it's the relationship we build along the way. Real change happens when there's a genuine connection between us. No fancy bot , be it a CBT bot, can ever replace the healing presence of a therapist who truly sees you.

Artificial intelligence therapy bots are gaining traction in the psychotherapy marketplace. Yet, the only existing study examining the efficacy of a t…

"W.B. Yeats' poem 'The Second Coming' is pretty famous, and the line 'The center cannot hold' has popped up in all sorts of books and music. You might've heard of an amazing book called 'The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness' by Elyn R. Saks - she wrote about overcoming schizophrenia.
In Yeats' poem, he talks about a world going haywire after World War I, with things falling apart and communication breaking down. Even though the poem is from 1919, it still fits today because it captures a feeling of chaos and big changes coming. The idea of the world spinning out of control and something bad looming continues to make sense in our world today.
By the way, if you're into TV series, Dominic West, who plays Prince Charles in 'The Crown,' has read this poem. I love the poem, even though I am not a native English speaker, and some subtleties of the language might be lost to me

And finally, the spring arrived in my heart
With a tingling sensation of yearning for the red tulip

I felt the breeze of the spring in my body
And my flowery skirt lifted to this breeze

The canaries whispered in my ears
The glorious fables of my motherland

I felt the freshness of the rain in my joints
And I danced to the pearls of water showering me with newness of life

Oxygenated blood met my rosy cheeks
In the imminent chance of union

My heart started to sing familiar love songs
And my soul lifted to God’s neighborhood

It was in this state that I embraced “Nowruz”
And spread the unpretentious love’s “Sofreh“

“Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.“
Marianne Williamson quoted by Nelson Mandela

Love , love love
I have written a dissertation about love that no one reads
But every time I let go of my knowing
And drop down to my knees , open my heart
And don’t need anything in return but complete surrender to what I love, I feel it illuminates me and I am only a witness to it in complete awe

My mom loved fruit trees and this orange tree was one of the few fruit trees she asked our Gardener to plant for us. She was often so fond of all the gardeners both here and Iran. I think this dwarfs orange tree was planted at least ten years ago, during all these years, this tree has never bore any fruits until this year. Coincidentally, two of our beloved parakeets died this year, one after another and we buried them under the orange tree with utter sadness for the times they brought us joy. It made think of Rumi’s poem about rebirth and the potential of all seeds to grow back. He then questions as why we don’t hold the same stance towards people who are buried. Even if you don’t believe this outlook , this is a nice story: The parakeets who came back as sweet oranges of the garden… holding your memory alive today Nooshin joon and the fruit trees are your witnesses on earth.
