The FDA has announced a voluntary recall of select lots of Major Pharmaceuticals Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets due to sub-potency. If you take levothyroxine, do not stop your medication without speaking with your healthcare provider first. Check the manufacturer and lot number on your prescription bottle and contact your pharmacist if you believe your medication may be affected.

We wanted to make our patients aware of the recall. If you need an alternative, we can discuss whether a compounded thyroid medication through our trusted pharmacy partner, BelMar Solutions, is appropriate for your individual needs.

We will close early at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, and will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
