Some seasons of life arrive exactly as we hoped they would. Others look nothing like we planned.
There are seasons of joy and new beginnings. Seasons of waiting. Seasons of uncertainty. Seasons when we feel strong and capable, and seasons when simply making it through the day feels like an accomplishment.
But one thing does not change with the season: God’s presence.
God does not ask us to have the entire journey figured out before we take the next step. He meets us right where we are and gives us grace for today.
Maybe today you are celebrating. Maybe you are overwhelmed. Maybe you are waiting for an answer. Maybe you are carrying something quietly that no one else knows feels heavy.
Whatever this season looks like, it is not outside of God’s reach.
Sometimes we become so focused on what comes next that we miss the ways God is already caring for us right now. An unexpected kindness. A door that opens. A prayer answered differently than we imagined. Strength for one more day. Peace that doesn’t make sense in the middle of uncertainty.
You may not know what the next month or year will look like. You don’t have to.
Trust God with this season. Take the next step. Receive today’s grace. The God who has carried you this far is already present in whatever comes next.
🙏 Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being constant through every changing season of our lives.
When we are joyful, help us remember to thank You. When we are afraid, give us courage. When we are weary, renew our strength. When we are waiting, give us patience. And when we cannot see what comes next, help us trust that You can.
Help us release the things we cannot control and place them into Your hands. Open our eyes to the blessings we might otherwise overlook and remind us that Your goodness is not dependent upon our circumstances.
Be especially near to those who are carrying heavy burdens today. Give peace to the anxious heart, comfort to the hurting, hope to the discouraged, wisdom to those facing difficult decisions, and strength to those who feel they have none left.
Whatever season we find ourselves in, help us remember that we do not walk through it alone.
You were faithful yesterday.
You are faithful today.
And You will be faithful tomorrow.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🤍
