Exosomes: Hype vs. Reality

Exosomes are everywhere in aesthetics right now.

But are they really everything social media makes them out to be?

Stacy’s answer is refreshingly nuanced: there’s exciting potential—but there’s also a lot we still don’t know.
Exosomes are involved in cell-to-cell communication, carrying molecular signals from one cell to another. And that’s an important distinction:

Simply saying a product contains “exosomes” doesn’t tell you everything about that product.
What’s inside, where they come from, how they’re processed and formulated, and the evidence supporting their use all matter.

At Concierge Aesthetics, exosome-based topical products may be used as an adjunct with certain procedures—but we don’t believe in presenting an emerging technology as a miracle treatment.

The science is evolving. The potential is exciting.

But promising and proven aren’t the same thing.
