Ovarian cancer is often called the "silent" cancer — and here's why that matters. 🩷
Unlike cervical cancer, there is no routine screening test for ovarian cancer. That's why knowing the warning signs is so important:
⚠️ Bloating that doesn't go away
⚠️ Pelvic or abdominal pain
⚠️ Feeling full quickly or difficulty eating
⚠️ Frequent or urgent need to urinate
⚠️ Changes in bowel habits
⚠️ Unusual fatigue or back pain
These symptoms are easy to dismiss. Don't. If you've been experiencing any of these for more than 2 weeks, call your OB-GYN. Early detection saves lives.
At Islip OB-GYN, we take your concerns seriously — every time.
