Applied Behavior Analysis Practice Guidelines for the Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, published by the Council of Autism Service Providers, is an invaluable resource for helping funders, stakeholders, and the public understand the nature of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention, the landscape of service delivery, and the considerations related to identifying quality intervention. ASAT has selected a few elements (directly from the guidelines) that illustrate aspects of the guidelines that may clarify common misconceptions and help to disseminate accurate information about the field of ABA as it applies to autism intervention.
