Menopause is no joke for women.. and now an estrogen patch shortage delema?!  In the summer?!  Dr J has a tip for you while the shortage is getting resolved.  See, she is a board certified internal medicine physician and registered pharmacist, providing menopause care to women for over 25 years in Issaquah.

One solution that her patients have found helpful...
Cut a larger strength patch in half.  Your doctor can order a larger strength that is more widely available.

Not all patches can be cut.  They have to be a *solid matrix form. Cutting them is off label but is a rational temporary solution.
