Happy Days at Renaissance! 💙🎉

After a long and emotional journey, Mr. Jacinto reached an incredible milestone, walking out the doors of Renaissance and heading home!

A lifelong member of the Italy, TX community, Mr. Jacinto and his family are well known for their involvement in local sports and their church. It has been an honor to care for and rehabilitate not only Mr. Jacinto, but many members of this wonderful family over the years.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Seeing Mr. Jacinto walk out with strength, determination, and the support of his loved ones is a celebration we’ll never forget.

Congratulations, Mr. Jacinto! Thank you for trusting us to be part of your journey. We wish you and your family continued health, happiness, and many blessings as you enjoy being back home. 🏡💙

Beauty, confidence, and smiles all around at Renaissance! ✨👑

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful Gorgeous Grandma Day, and it was truly a day to remember! We had the honor of helping our ladies get glammed up with hair, makeup, sparkling accessories, and crowns fit for queens.

The sweetest part was seeing their faces light up and hearing them say how beautiful they felt. Moments like these remind us that confidence, joy, and feeling special never go out of style. 💖

🎨🧢 Creativity was on full display at Renaissance!

Our residents had so much fun designing their own custom hats and choosing patches that reflected their unique personalities. From colorful letters to fun designs, each hat became a one-of-a-kind creation!

Activities like these encourage creativity, self-expression, and conversation while bringing plenty of smiles along the way. We love seeing our residents try new things and show off their artistic side! 💙

🎉 There’s never a dull moment at Renaissance! 🎉

From an exciting game of beach volleyball 🏐 to a room full of friendly competition at our giant domino table, our residents stayed active, engaged, and smiling all week long. We even mixed in one-on-one crafting, dancing, and plenty of laughter along the way!

Every activity is an opportunity to build friendships, spark joy, and create meaningful moments together. ❤️

After countless hours of hard work in therapy, both inside and outside the gym, Mr. Christopher Olde is heading home with a smile on his face and a heart full of gratitude. He shared, “I’m not sure I want to leave after all the love and friendships I’ve made.” ✨

His determination, positive attitude, and inspiring spirit have motivated everyone around him throughout his journey. We are so proud of all he has accomplished and wish him the very best as he returns home to begin this next chapter. Congratulations, Mr. Olde! 🏡❤️

🎣👔 We had a REEL GREAT time celebrating our dads this Father’s Day at Renaissance Healthcare Center!

A special thank you to April with Wings Over Texas Hospice for helping make the day extra special. She brought adorable snackle boxes and a delicious worm cake for our guys to enjoy alongside their other treats and festivities. 🐟🪱🍰

We appreciate all of the wonderful dads in our Renaissance family and were honored to celebrate each of them and the memories they continue to share with us every day. 💙

Mrs. Watson Returns Home — A True Therapy Rockstar! 🎸🏆

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Watson as she successfully completes her therapy journey and returns home! 🎉 Through hard work, determination, and a positive attitude, she achieved her goals and proved that she truly is a therapy rockstar. ⭐

From balance and mobility training to building strength and confidence, Mrs. Watson embraced every challenge and made incredible progress along the way. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and grateful to have been part of her journey.

Balance, posture, and body awareness are key components of safe mobility. Through targeted therapy activities, residents are strengthening their stability, improving coordination, and building the confidence needed to move safely throughout their day. 👏

Every exercise, every step, and every challenge overcome helps reduce fall risk and supports greater independence. We are proud to celebrate the hard work and determination shown during therapy sessions! 💙

💙✨ Celebrated Our Amazing CNAs! ✨💙

We had an incredible time celebrating CNA Week and showing appreciation for the compassionate caregivers who make a difference every single day. From fun dress-up days and delicious treats to refreshing beverages and special activities, the week was filled with smiles, laughter, and well-deserved recognition.

A special thank you to Wings Over Texas Hospice and Bristol Hospice for partnering with us and helping make our CNAs feel celebrated and appreciated. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Ahmed and the managers of Texas Best BBQ for generously providing a delicious meal for our aides. Your support helped make this week extra special!

Thank you to our CNA team for your dedication, kindness, and the exceptional care you provide to our residents each day. We are grateful for all that you do! 👏💙

🎨🪨 Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative during yesterday’s rock painting activity!

From colorful designs to unique works of art, each rock reflected the imagination and personality of the resident who created it. Activities like these encourage creativity, self-expression, and plenty of smiles along the way.

We can’t wait to seal these masterpieces and add them to our rock garden out front. Be sure to keep an eye out for them the next time you visit Renaissance!
