The Ithaca College Longview Partnership club partnered with the Alzheimer's Association for our annual Mini Walk to End Alzheimer's. This event is a collaboration of Longview, Ithaca College and the Alzheimer's Association of CNY that we are proud to host each year in honor of those with a personal connection to Alzheimer's Disease and raising awareness for research of the cure.

Today was a community garden workgroup day. Residents put the Kohl Rabi, wax beans, and cabbages in the ground after doing some clean up the beds. Our fearless maintenance staff also got started on the fence that will go around the garlic garden. It's a good start to a great season.

We are actively enhancing our community with initiatives such as the Brodhead Garden restoration, the First Ride Trolley Celebration, and a new Makerspace. Recap from last night's annual Foodnet Meals on Wheels Mac & Cheese Bowl. Longview dining represented with a traditional macaroni and cheese and it was a big hit. Congratulations to our dining leaders, Natalie, Cori and Ashlee. Their culinary skill brought folks back for seconds and thirds until their trays were emptied.
