The Longview Community Garden is flourishing this summer. Residents are busy tending the beds, growing an abundance of tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, cabbage, cucumbers, rhubarb, peppers, lettuce, beans and a wide variety of herbs. Gardeners harvested garlic scapes last week, and the eagerly anticipated garlic harvest is just around the corner. The garden continues to be a vibrant community space, bringing neighbors together while producing a bountiful crop of fresh, homegrown food and flowers.
