Today, we celebrated our very own Stephanie and her…engagement?

Sometimes when there isn’t anything to celebrate, you simply create your own celebration. So naturally, we threw Stephanie a bridal shower for her and her…fiancé. We will let the details work themselves out later 😅

There was salad, fruit, dessert, and questionable wedding planning!

We officially made it through another week of coughs, sniffles and sticker negotiations 😆💙

As we head into the weekend, here’s your official Friday challenge:

✨ Let your kid pick dinner tonight
✨ Stay up 15 minutes past bedtime
✨ Dance in the kitchen at least once
✨ And don’t forget the sunscreen! ☀️

We are SO proud of all of our patients for working hard this school year! From first-day jitters to final report cards, it has been amazing watching each of you learn, grow, and shine. 💙

Now it’s time for:

Summer adventures are here… and so is poison ivy season! 🌿😬

Many kids don’t realize they’ve touched poison ivy until the itchy rash appears a day or two later.

✨ Remember this phrase:
“Leaves of three, let it be!” 🍃🍃🍃

Helpful Prevention Tips:
• Wear long sleeves/pants when hiking or playing in wooded areas
• Wash skin and clothes quickly after outdoor activities
• Avoid touching unknown plants
• Keep pets clean after being outside, oils can stick to fur too!

❗ If your child develops a rash:
Try not to scratch, keep the area clean, and contact us if swelling, spreading, or severe itching occurs.

School is almost out, which means more outdoor adventures, hikes, ballgames, and backyard fun! ☀️⚾🌳

With all that outdoor time comes something parents should watch for… TICKS! 🕷️

✨ Tick Bite Prevention Tips:
• Use child-safe bug spray when outdoors
• Wear light-colored clothing to spot ticks easier
• Check behind ears, hairlines, under arms, and behind knees after playing outside
• Shower after spending time in wooded or grassy areas

❗ If you find a tick:
Use tweezers to gently remove it as close to the skin as possible and clean the area well. Watch for fever, rash, or unusual symptoms afterward.

A quick tick check can help keep summer fun and worry-free! 💚

🎓💙 To the Graduating Class of 2026 💙🎓

From all of us here at Pediatric Choice, we want to say just how incredibly proud we are of each and every one of you graduating this year.

It feels like just yesterday many of you were coming into our office with backpacks bigger than you were, picking out stickers after your appointments, and telling us all about your favorite toys, sports, and dreams for the future. Watching you grow from little kids into confident, hardworking young adults has truly been one of the greatest joys for our team. 💙

Being part of your journey through the years has been such an honor. We’ve celebrated milestones with you, watched you overcome challenges, and seen the amazing people you’ve become. Now, as you walk across that stage and begin this next chapter, we hope you know how loved, supported, and admired you are by your hometown community.

Whether your next step is college, trade school, the workforce, military service, or discovering a new adventure, we know the future is bright for the Class of 2026. 🌟
