☁️ Congratulations to Dr. Hannah Austin and Dr. Huang, recipients of this year's Black Cloud Awards!

The Resident Black Cloud Award recognizes the resident who somehow manages to receive the busiest calls and most challenging cases, but handles them with grace, professionalism, and without complaint.

The Attending Black Cloud Award honors a faculty member who similarly seems to attract the most complex situations while serving as a steady and dependable presence for both patients and trainees.

Dr. Austin and Dr. Huang exemplify resilience, dedication, and a positive attitude, even on the busiest days. We are grateful for all they do for our department and patients.

🏆 Congratulations to Dr. Ramesh Shrestha, incoming PGY-3, on receiving the Fleet Feet Award during our Neurology Graduation Celebration!

This award recognizes the fastest door-to-needle time for TNK administration in acute stroke care. When it comes to stroke treatment, every minute counts. Nearly 2 million neurons die for every minute a stroke goes untreated.

Thank you, Dr. Shrestha, for your commitment to delivering rapid, exceptional care when patients need it most. 👏

This past weekend, we had the privilege of celebrating an outstanding group of residents and fellows as they completed their training with us!

We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and grateful for the dedication, compassion, and excellence they have brought to our department and patients throughout their journey.

While some will be continuing their careers in new locations, we are especially excited that some will be staying with us. We look forward to watching each of them continue to make a difference in the lives of patients and advance the field of neurology.
