✨ Staff Spotlight: Meet Our Nurse Manager, Crystal Shauger ✨
For the past 15 years, Crystal Shauger has been a compassionate presence at Alpha Women's Resource Center, serving as our Nurse Manager and bringing more than 25 years of nursing experience to every client she meets.
Crystal first learned about Alpha while attending one of our baby showers. After hearing about the vision to expand medical services through ultrasound, she felt called to learn more. A conversation after that event led her to join our team—and the rest is history.
One of the things that makes Crystal so special is the genuine love and compassion she has for every client. She takes the time to truly get to know each woman who comes through our doors, showing them kindness, respect, and the love of Christ. It isn't unusual for clients to stay in touch with her for years afterward, sharing updates about their lives and growing families. The relationships she builds are real, and they speak volumes about the care she provides.
While Crystal has a fun personality that brings joy to our team, she is also an incredible source of comfort and reassurance during what can be an uncertain time in a client's life. Whether she's performing an ultrasound, answering medical questions, or simply listening, she helps every client feel seen, valued, and cared for.
When asked what she loves most about Alpha, Crystal said it's the family atmosphere. Our staff prays for, encourages, and supports one another, and that love naturally extends to everyone who walks through our doors.
Crystal also wants people to know that Alpha is for everyone. Whether someone needs pregnancy services, parenting support, life skills classes, financial education, Bible studies, counseling, or simply someone who cares, they're welcome here.
