We had the privilege of visiting the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) Henderson County September 2026 graduating class alongside our HR recruiters—Courtney Hiscox, Kerrie Walker, and Amy Witherspoon—as well as our special guest, Cindy Cox from West Tennessee Medical Center.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with these future nurses and share information about our Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) Residency Program, Direct Hire Pathway, and the many career opportunities available within West Tennessee Healthcare, including clinic nursing opportunities with West Tennessee Medical Group.

The students were highly engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and gave us a warm welcome. We are excited to have already received positive feedback and interest from students eager to begin their nursing careers with our team.
A heartfelt thank you to the faculty and students at TCAT Henderson County for your hospitality and partnership. We look forward to supporting the next generation of nurses and welcoming many of these graduates to the West Tennessee Healthcare family!

JMCSS Administrators Institute

For the third consecutive year, West Tennessee Healthcare proudly hosted the JMCSS Administrators Institute. Workforce Development partnered closely with Dr. Breeden, JMCSS Chief of Staff, to coordinate the event, which welcomed 161 JMCSS faculty, staff, and guest speakers. The institute featured an inspiring keynote address from Dr. Vincent Windrow.

Our partnership with the Jackson-Madison County School System continues to strengthen the connection between education and healthcare by creating meaningful opportunities for student career exploration, workforce development, and community engagement.
