It was a great evening of fellowship and conversation at MFDA’s Northern District Meeting last night!

With 18 members and industry partners in attendance, we enjoyed a social hour hosted by Jason Heg and Malaki Bean of Heritage Memorial Funding, followed by dinner provided by Mike Smalley and Wilbert Vault Co.

Kevin Hurt of East Mississippi Community College shared an insightful look at the past, present, and future of mortuary education, and we also heard from representatives of Crescent Memorial and SFLIC.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening a success. We were honored to have our President, David Brown, in attendance as well! We raised $100 for the MFDA Foundation through our 50/50 drawing, with Gene Phillips taking home the winning $50 and the remaining $50 going to the Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support MFDA and make these district gatherings possible!
