Today, the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation joined the Mississippi Department of Mental Health and community partners in recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day.

Since the naloxone vending machine was placed inside the Jackson Medical Mall on July 7, 2025, 2,162 doses have been distributed anonymously and at no cost.

We are proud to serve as a trusted point of access for a resource that can save lives and strengthen communities. Today, we honor those whose lives have been lost to overdose, stand with the families and communities affected, and celebrate those walking the path of recovery.
