Some people will lovebomb you and convince you that they want the same thing as you. Sometimes they don’t share your values and beliefs, but want the supply of validation you provide them and will go to any lengths to maintain that, exploiting and manipulating you in the process.

Learning your value and worth will cause you to recognize the gaslighting and lovebombing when it happens, so you can choose how to honor yourself rather than the promise of growth potential without concrete, consistent action.

Someone who genuinely loves you will show it in how self-aware they are, and in the steps they take toward individual growth. Sometimes people do not believe they need to change…so they don’t. Instead, they convince you they want to change or that they have already changed.
