A safe experience starts with the right support. The Mississippi Poison Control Center now offers a free, confidential helpline for Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program participants. Call 601-984-1170 for guidance on safe use and if someone has taken the wrong medication, wrong dose, or is experiencing an unexpected reaction related to cannabis.

The Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program has launched a dedicated Poison Control Hotline to support patients and providers!

An expert team is available 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM CST daily to assist with Accidental exposures, Therapeutic dosing errors, Overdoses or Adverse effects from medical cannabis

They can also answer drug information questions including interactions, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, dosage, and formulation guidance.
