Camp Heart Hope was a total success!! We could not have prayed for a more fun day with our families and teams! The big kids had just as much fun as the littles ❤️ Thank you to the partnership with Camp Kamassa for having us out to enjoy your facilities! Thank you to all of our volunteers with the Priscilla and David O’Donnell Children’s Heart Center and University Heart for making this a complete success! We truly enjoyed getting to have fun with our patients outside of the hospital. Everyone is already talking about next year 🌈❤️

Thankful for Dr. Frandsen and the expertise he has brought to Mississippi and the Priscilla and David O'Connell Children's Heart Center.

With Dr. Frandsen, we now have a full complement of experts providing Pediatric Cardiac Transplant and Mechanical Circulatory Support services to the sickest children in Mississippi rivaling the nation's top Children's Heart Centers.

For families facing a child’s heart transplant, having advanced care close to home can mean one less burden during an already uncertain journey. Dr. Erik Frandsen is helping Children’s of Mississippi make that possible.

Getting to see a real ultrasound machine in action made science come alive for students at Hartfield Academy 💙 Members of our Children’s heart center team recently visited the school’s medical science club to share how pediatric cardiac sonography helps care for children with heart conditions. We love seeing our team inspire the next generation of health care professionals while helping students learn more about the hearts behind the work.
