Over the weekend, I received a photograph from a colleague that I am compelled to share. The resident's reaction to the hand I'm holding is priceless, as she was visibly nostalgic for happier times, according to the nurse. Although some might perceive this moment as unusual, I find it profoundly rewarding. This resident's milestone marks the culmination of years of perseverance with a wound that has finally healed. She expressed her gratitude by requesting a photograph with the entire team involved in her recovery. This moment transcends a mere paycheck or the hours dedicated to care; it is encapsulated in the joy of shared triumphs. A snapshot like this will be etched in our memories forever, particularly for the resident, who can now look forward to a life beyond the facility. What may seem like an ordinary picture to some is, in fact, a testament to her journey towards regaining her independence and quality of life.

My girl, Sharon, the wound care nurse..... there are NO words to Express how proud of her I am!!!! I put her to the test last week during wound care rounds and It Sure payed off this week! Thank you for trusting me 💯 Job well done to ALL!!!
