It is such a bittersweet week as we honor Dr. Bordelon’s final days in our office before he embarks on the grand adventure of retirement! (It’s true, we’re crying.) Nia (left) has been with Dr. B for 3 years as an MA, and Tambria (right) has been an MA with Dr. B for 6 years — and has also been his patient since the age of 14! We will miss having him around the office so much. 🥹🫶

Today, we share bittersweet news as we celebrate an extraordinary career and the remarkable legacy of Dr. John G. Bordelon.

After 35 years of caring for women and families throughout Northeast Florida, welcoming more than 8,000 babies into the world, performing hundreds of surgeries, and building countless lifelong relationships with his patients, Dr. Bordelon will retire on July 31, 2026.

As a founder of Beaches OBGYN, Dr. Bordelon has helped shape our practice and has been a trusted physician, mentor, and advocate for generations of women and families throughout Northeast Florida. His compassion, dedication, and commitment to patient care have left a lasting impact on our community.

Dr. Bordelon would like to share this message with his patients:

"It is with a sad heart that I announce my retirement from medicine after 35 years of service to the women of N.E. Florida. After 8,000+ deliveries, hundreds of surgeries, and countless office visits, I must say goodbye to all the wonderful women who have crossed my path.

Thank you all for what you've taught me. My life has been so enriched knowing each and every one of you. It has truly been an honor serving you all.

Many thanks to Dr. Rodriguez for helping me build Beaches OB/GYN, and my eternal gratitude to my staff for all that they've done for me and my patients.

Your records will remain at Beaches OB/GYN for your continued care, or will be transferred to whichever facility you designate.

Thank you all again.

Sincerely,
Dr. John G. Bordelon"

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Bordelon on an extraordinary career and thanking him for the compassion and care he has provided to so many women and families over the years. We wish him a happy and well-deserved retirement. đź’™
