2025- A Year of Impact

941 Sessions. 80+ Families. 1 Mission. 🗣️✨

2025 was a year of profound growth and impact at Empowered Voice Rehabilitation. As we look back on the nearly 1,000 clinical sessions we completed, we are reminded of why we do what we do: to help our community members regain their ability to swallow safely, communicate with loved ones, and navigate neurogenic challenges.

Here are a few highlights from our “Year of Impact”:

🎙️ The Voice of Expertise: We were honored to be featured on WJCT’s “What’s Health Got to Do with It?” podcast, advocating for patient access to specialized medical speech pathology.

⚡ Clinical Excellence: We leveled up our specialized care! 100% of our clinical team is now Ampcare ESP Certified, bringing the latest in neuromuscular electrical stimulation technology to our dysphagia patients.

📈 Doubling Our Reach: We’ve doubled our capacity to serve patients in need of neuro-rehab and voice therapy.

🏢 Big News for 2026: To better serve our community, we have some very exciting things coming in 2026. You’ll have to stay tuned for more updates!

To the 80+ families who trusted us in 2025: Thank you for letting us be part of your story. To the physicians who trust us with your referrals: Thank you for your partnership in care.

We are ready for you, 2026! 🚀

🌟 Celebrating Our Future SLPs! 🌟
It’s our graduate student clinicians’ final week of their clinical placement with us at Empowered Voice Rehabilitation LLC! Our two incredible graduate student clinicians from Jacksonville University have spent the entire fall semester learning, growing, and pouring their hearts into patient care. 💛🎓

At Empowered Voice Rehabilitation, we believe deeply in reciprocal learning — the beautiful exchange that happens when experienced clinicians and student clinicians work side-by-side. Our graduate clinicians bring the newest knowledge in the field, and our seasoned clinicians bring years of insight and wisdom. Together, that combination leads to the very best outcomes for the patients we’re honored to serve. ✨

To celebrate their hard work and HUGE progress, Alodia even got to use the scope and practice scoping me (Ashley, owner of Empowered Voice Rehabilitation)! 🎥👀 Such a full-circle moment!

As they head into their final graduate placements this spring before graduation, we’re cheering them on every step of the way. 🌱✨ We know they’ll continue to shine, grow, and make a meaningful impact wherever they go. The future of our field is bright with clinicians like Alodia and Ella stepping into it! 💐💬

🎉 Please help us welcome two incredible graduate student clinicians joining us this fall from Jacksonville University — Alodia and Ella! 🎉

Alodia and Ella are second-year graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology, and we are thrilled to host them at Empowered Voice Rehabilitation for their Fall 2025 clinical placement. 🗓️💬

✨ Meet Alodia!
With a background as an SLPA working with pediatric clients in schools and clinics, Alodia brings a strong foundation in communication sciences. She’s also gained valuable experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental differences. A trained singer, Alodia has a growing passion for voice therapy and helping others discover their voice. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her making music, discovering new restaurants, or relaxing with a good movie. 🎶🎬🍽️

🌊 Meet Ella!
Hailing from Woodstock, GA and a proud UT Knoxville alum, Ella has clinical experience in both school and medical settings. She values forming meaningful connections with clients and is committed to supporting them every step of the way. Outside of sessions, Ella loves spending time at the beach, traveling, and enjoying life with friends and family. ☀️✈️🏖️

We’re so excited to be part of their clinical journey and can’t wait to see all they’ll accomplish this semester! 💙

We had such an exciting day at WJCT recording with the incredible Dr. Joe Sirven for What’s Health Got to Do With It! We loved sharing what we do as speech-language pathologists at Empowered Voice Rehabilitation—educating others about communication, swallowing, and the power of the human voice.

Tune in on Father’s Day weekend to hear our episode and learn more about the vital role SLPs play in helping people find their voice and reclaim their confidence.

Thank you and for the opportunity—we’re so honored to be part of the conversation!

✨ Feedback Spotlight ✨

We were deeply moved by the feedback we received from an attendee of our Free Parkinson’s Informational Session — "Intentional Living: Managing Parkinson’s with Purpose" — held at the Life Care Center of Orange Park on April 11, 2025.

🗣️ "I think most of us feel like we are handed our diagnosis and shoved out the door to the wolves, so to speak, thoroughly uninformed and frightened because we have no idea what to expect or how fast our bodies will betray us or what we can do to slow the process. Doctors' offices hand out very little to no information. I wanted to thank you for your wonderful event yesterday. You did one of the best presentations that I have ever heard."

At Empowered Voice Rehabilitation, our mission is to bring clarity, compassion, and community to those navigating Parkinson’s. You are not alone. We are so honored to walk this journey with you — with purpose and intention every step of the way.

💜 Thank you to everyone who joined us.

If you missed it, please join us TONIGHT from 5:00-7:00pm at Direct Orthopedic Therapy for another FREE Information Session on Parkinson's disease in honor of Parkinson's Awareness Month!
