I haven’t seen these little guys for two weeks! 🦝🦝

I was starting to wonder if that first trip to the creek was the last time I’d see them. 😳

Turns out raccoons can maintain several nests and will occasionally move their kits around, especially if they think someone has noticed them.

My puffy under eyes have been the bane of my existence for a hot minute. After wasting quite a few dollars on things that didn’t work, I finally found a couple that do. Here is one of them if you are fighting the same fight. This one feels the most gentle.

They’ve been checking it out for days, taking cautious drinks and keeping a close eye on it.

Today, a cardinal finally decided it was trustworthy enough for a bath. 🥹❤️

Tiger is a momma 💕

I had suspected Tiger might be a young mom because of how determined she was around food. I would run her off and she’d come right back, which isn’t something I usually see.

Yesterday she confirmed my suspicions by bringing two babies with her. And guess what?? My grandkiddos were visiting and got to witness their big debut 💕 We all sat at the window completely captivated for several minutes.

What a wonderful gift from God, and a moment we will all remember for a long time. 🥹💕🦝🦝

My grandparents nurtured my love of the outdoors, making space for afternoons watching birds, chipmunks, and whatever else happened to wander by. They even supplied the peanuts!

Today a blue jay stopped for a drink, and for a moment I felt like I was sitting in that campground chair all over again. 💙

and one of the best meals me & Myles have ever experienced.

Kali, our waitress, told us she’s worked there for 14 years.

Funny enough, Myles has been traveling with me for 14 years too. ❤️

Myles and I agreed immediately: five bananas 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌… despite covert raccoon operations.

PS - Myles suspects this was not the raccoons’ first restaurant.
