Life Tree Women Care

Life Tree Women Care Life Tree Women Care Inc. offers culturally competent and safe care to every patient.

As many women have never seen a medical provider that is of the same ethnicity (which adds to the lack of connection), Life Tree Women Care ensures a staff that is of diverse ethnicities to increase connection and inclusion. The clinic’s location was specifically chosen as a place accessible to those relying on public transportation. Life Tree Women Care collaborates with other medical providers

and community services to bring balance and maintenance to healthy lives for all. The goal is to impact the trust the community has for the medical profession in a positive way.

“Too many women on the Westside lack access to effective and affordable care,” explained Co-Founder Jamie Neal, ARNP. “We want to change that while prioritizing healthcare services for all women with both quality and cultural competence."

There’s nothing quite like seeing familiar faces come back through our doors with a newborn in their arms.

We get to be part of so many moments before baby arrives, but seeing families on the other side of those months of anticipation is always one of the sweetest parts of what we do. 💜

Expecting moms, we’d love to welcome you into the Life Tree family and be part of your journey, too.

If you are nervous about your first Pap smear, you are definitely not alone.

Pap smears can feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar, but they should not be painful, and your experience often depends on how relaxed and supported you feel during the exam.

A good provider will talk you through the process, move at your pace, and help make the experience as quick and comfortable as possible.

One of our favorite parts of caring for moms is getting to finally meet the babies we’ve spent months helping families prepare for. 💜

There’s something really special about seeing families settle into this new chapter after being part of so many visits, conversations, and milestones along the way.

Baby Damias will always have a special place at Life Tree Women Care. Thank you to mom, Dasia, for letting us be part of your story.

It's common to wonder if what you're experiencing is "normal." The truth is, many aspects of women's health can vary from person to person.

Cycle length, ovulation timing, pregnancy symptoms, baby movement, and menopause can all look different while still falling within a healthy range.

If something feels different than your normal, it's worth a conversation. Call our office at (904) 379-2540 and let's talk through your concerns together.

Life Tree Babies Friday! 💜

Watching a family grow is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. From pregnancy appointments to seeing little ones months later, those moments always mean so much to our team.

Being invited into such an important season and then getting to see the smiles, personalities, and milestones that follow is something we are truly grateful for.

Thank you to this wonderful family for allowing us to be a small part of your story.

Yesterday, our Community Outreach & Office Manager, Lauren, attended the Jacksonville Job Corps Open House alongside fellow community partners and students.

She had the chance to learn more about Job Corps’ mission, tour the campus, and explore the many trade opportunities available to students.

We love connecting with organizations that are creating opportunities and investing in our community!

June is Migraine and Headache Awareness Month.

Headaches can sometimes feel like just another part of a busy season of life, but they can also be your body’s way of telling you something is off. For women, common triggers may include hormonal changes, dehydration, poor sleep, stress, and low iron levels.

If your headaches are becoming more frequent, more severe, or starting to interfere with daily life, it’s worth having a conversation with your healthcare provider.

Packing your hospital bag doesn’t have to be complicated.

A little preparation ahead of time can help you feel more comfortable and focused when labor begins.

While every hospital is different, most provide more than people realize, so think less about packing everything and more about bringing the items that will help you feel like yourself.

Getting pregnant again can happen sooner than many new moms expect.

After delivery, your body needs time to recover and rebuild before supporting another pregnancy.

Family planning does not look the same for everyone, which is why it helps to talk through your goals and choose an option that fits your lifestyle and comfort level.
