"Expand"
When I felt like this was my word for 2022, I had no idea it would mean expanding my business, Ubuntu Counseling Center, LLC. www.theubuntuprocess.com
Yet here I am looking to expand. At this point, I have a small private practice office located at 1260 McDuff Avenue S. in Jacksonville, FL. I also have a small group space in the same building that can be utilized for groups or trainings.
I imagine the right person might be someone looking to be in private practice 3-4 days a week but not wanting to run their own business yet or even someone just getting started, or perhaps even someone wanting to learn more about experiential therapy, nature-based therapy, groups, or human trafficking as I have a background specifically to these areas.
The person at this point needs to be licensed as there will not always be a licensed person on-site. For anyone interested, I will be asking to meet face to face as a next step to connect further because I truly want it to be a win/win. If interested please reach out to [email protected].

Loved the time I was able to spend today with a MOPS group. Being able to talk to a group of moms about all things mental wellness was such a gift.
As a therapist I love to partner with community providers and groups and hope to be able to provide even more trainings in the future.
Their thank you note was so kind and it reminded me of the importance of a simple "thank you" and gesture.
So thank you to all the mom's out there who are working to shift patterns and show up for those around you.

So many times since becoming a therapist I have thought, "where was this when I was 20". While I am sure services existed, I was unaware of any.
Today every part of my being is excited to share about this program which recently added in more trips and expanded their services beyond human trafficking and to work with survivors of trauma.
The trauma was not your fault and you are so worthy of the space to rest, process, and voice the hard and the real.
