Movement Driven Performance Physiotherapy

Movement Driven Performance Physiotherapy Movement Driven bridges the gap between rehab and sports performance. Movement Driven Performance Physiotherapy bridges the gap between rehab and performance.

We help athletes and active members of the Northeast Florida community keep moving and get back to and enhance their ability to participate in the sport or activity they love. We provide rehab to acutely injured athletes and progressing to progress them back to sport as well as those just looking to enhance and optimize performance under the guidance of a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We believe in

building a strong foundation of quality movement patterns, neuromuscular motor control, joint mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. We do this by building programs that are specifically designed and tailored for the needs each client's sport or activity. Our clinicians work with youth athletes and active adults throughout Northeast Florida to keep moving and perform the activity and sport that they love.

The bathroom line at the gym, six deep, because everyone knows why. Peeing a little when you jump, sneeze, or laugh has become such a normal part of “mom life” that nobody questions it anymore.

Dr. Greg and Dr. Jenny Quartano, PT, DPT of All Together Wellness say it’s time we did.

In this episode, they talk about why postpartum incontinence isn’t something you just have to live with, and what pelvic health therapy can actually do about it.

You wouldn’t expect an athlete to fire their glute correctly after doing the exercise once. So why would you expect a new mindset to stick after thinking a positive thought one time?

On this episode of the podcast, licensed mental health counselor and CrossFit coach Maggie Mahany tells Dr. Greg why finding three positives after every practice or competition works the same way as physical therapy reps — it’s building a new neural pathway, one rep at a time.

Belief isn’t instant. It’s trained.

What you put on your plate can support what you’re working toward in the gym, on the field, on the course — and in PT. 🍎💪

The right nutrition can help:
🍂 Fuel recovery
🍂 Support healthy joints
🍂 Build stronger tissue
🍂 Give your body the energy it needs to perform

This fall, take advantage of seasonal foods that do more than taste good. Pair smart nutrition with intentional movement, strength and recovery to keep your body feeling and performing its best.

At Movement Driven, the goal isn’t just getting you out of pain — it’s helping you build a body that’s ready for what you want to do next.

Tight hips. Aching lower back. Pelvic pain that just won’t quit. Dr. Greg sat down with Dr. Jenny Quartano, PT, DPT of All Together Wellness to talk about something most people never connect: chronic stress doesn’t just live in your head — it settles into your pelvic floor.

In this episode, Dr. Greg and Dr. Quartano break down why pelvic tension is a whole-body issue, why Kegels alone won’t fix it, and what postpartum recovery should actually look like.

Reed is putting in the WORK. ⚽️🔥

He’s currently training to play soccer at the collegiate level, and we’ve been working with him at Movement Driven to make sure his body is ready for everything the next level will demand.

Because physical therapy isn’t always about getting back from an injury.

For athletes like Reed, it’s about building strength, improving movement, increasing capacity and training the body to perform at a higher level.

At Movement Driven, we bridge the gap between rehab and performance; whether you’re working your way back to your sport or training to take your game to the next level.

Keep grinding, Reed. We can’t wait to see where it takes you. 💪⚽️

Most men don’t struggle to feel things. They struggle to say them out loud while someone’s looking them in the eye.

On this episode of the podcast, licensed mental health counselor and CrossFit coach Maggie Mahany tells Dr. Greg why her “walk and talk” sessions were built specifically with men’s mental health in mind. Walking side by side — instead of sitting face-to-face — takes the pressure off. No direct eye contact, no feeling like you’re on the spot. Just two people having a conversation, which somehow makes the hard questions easier to answer honestly.

🚫 “You’re never going to get better.”

That’s what one patient was told by her doctor after a car accident left her with months of neck and shoulder pain. He told her surgery was her only option — and that without it, she’d never lift her arm overhead again.

She didn’t believe him. And within days of working with Dr. Greg, she was already improving.

In this episode, Dr. Greg opens up about why a prognosis like that can do real damage to a patient’s mindset, and why he believes providers have a responsibility to be honest without taking away someone’s hope.

That MRI report might sound intimidating — but a finding on a scan doesn’t always explain why you’re hurting.

Disc bulges, degeneration, and other structural changes can show up in people who have zero back pain at all. That’s why treating back pain shouldn’t start and end with what an image says.

At Movement Driven, we look at the bigger picture: how you move, what reproduces your symptoms, where you’re limited, your strength and capacity, and what you actually want to get back to doing.

Because the goal isn’t to treat an MRI report. It’s to treat you.

If you’ve been dealing with back pain — or you’ve been handed an MRI report full of terms that left you with more questions than answers — let’s figure out what’s actually driving your symptoms.

Retirement should mean more time for the things you love — not more time sitting on the sidelines. ⛳️

Here in Florida, we have an incredible community of golfers who have worked hard to reach this season of life and want to make the most of it.

More rounds with friends. More time traveling. More days on the course. More energy to run around with the grandkids. And most importantly, the confidence that your body can keep up with everything you still want to do.

At Movement Driven, we love working with our 55+ golfers and active adults to help them build strength, improve mobility, work through aches and pains, and continue doing the activities that make retirement enjoyable.

Getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop moving.

In fact, we’d argue this is one of the best times to make movement a priority. 💪⛳️

Ready to keep your body moving as well as your golf game? Let’s get to work.
