I am a 180 in the best way possible of who I was previously.

Before: I thrived on being liked, fitting in. I thought belonging was safe. I was codependent.

And I also thought I was the epitome of health (that’s laughable now). Going like a machine from 4:15 am on, lots of grief, not truly knowing who I was, not knowing what my body needed. Oh and add in 2 glasses of wine and every night.

Stress often hits the high achievers even more. We just wear it better. But our bodies still feel the effects.

What I desire for every woman is to wake up actually excited for their day, boundaries, movement out of devotion not punishment, presence with your family, stable moods and patience, and feeling more joy than ever.

And that’s what we’re achieving in Rooted, my 10 week program.

A common theme I see among clients struggling with physical symptoms is chronic stress. And that’s why I created Rooted.

Bloat is rarely about what you’re eating.

I commonly see that it’s often bout the state you’re eating, living, and existing in.

If you’re rushing from one thing to the next, eating while answering emails, constantly thinking about what needs to get done next, and living like everything is an emergency, your body feels it.

And when your nervous system is stuck in go go go, digestion is deemed not important.

You can take the supplements, eat clean, cut out foods, have the perfect protocol ➡️ but if your body never feels safe enough to slow down, you’re missing a huge piece of the puzzle. And then the time, effort, and money you put in does nothing towards your goal of being comfortable and bloat free.

This isn’t about being lazy or doing less.

It’s about creating enough moments of safety, presence, and regulation throughout your day so your body can shift out of survival mode and into a state where healing is possible.

Your body needs safety and to know there’s no danger which is what it’s thinking when you don’t slow down.

I incorporate this in my 1:1 work as well as created a program solely to help you get out of survival mode to feel safe, grounded, and present on your life.

You need more intention.

Chances are, you can’t just switch jobs, or change your responsibilities or circumstances. But you can help regulate your nervous system through moments of safety throughout your day.

And safety is what your body needs. For energy, hormone production, digestion, metabolism, immune health.

This is exactly what we go deeper into inside Rooted: learning how to support your nervous system while still living your real, full life.

The goal isn’t a perfect routine. It’s to feel regulated, nourished, embodied. To love who you are and have more joy.

I would’ve saved so much money and time had I just done this instead.

Acne is an external sign of an internal problem.

That’s why you’ve cut out foods, switched skincare, tried prescriptions, and even procedures with no relief.

But it’s not as simple as just throwing in supplements.

I will say, my acne dramatically improved with addressing the insane imbalances I found in my gut and minerals.

But something was still missing.

The true nervous system + emotional aspect.

I was suppressing emotions like my life depended on it (because it kind of did at one point). It just can’t go on like that forever.

And also through working with a mentor did I learn there were more nervous system aspects I needed to address. That’s the beauty of mentorship- they can mirror what you’re blind to see.

I’m happy to say my skin is the best it’s been in years.

Life won’t always be rainbows and butterflies. But there’s always beauty to come out of these seasons 🤎

For those with health struggles: I always say it’s a blessing in disguise. Your body communicated that something was wrong, and in turn after working to relieve symptoms from a root cause, you become a healthier you: body, mind, and soul. I spent years thinking I was doing everything right.

Early workouts, eating well, successful job.

But I was exhausted, disconnected, and running on fumes. I had no idea there was another way.

What I was missing wasn’t another habit or a better routine. It was a relationship with my own body and allowing softness, emotions, and slowing down.

That’s why I created Rooted. Because so many women are living the way I was: capable, accomplished, yet completely depleted.

Many modern day women live this way. We are conditioned to be productive, to hustle, earn our worth. And it’s deeply showing in our bodies.

The most common thing I see among women who come to me with gut and hormone symptoms is chronic stress.

And chronic stress is the driver for long term chronic conditions. That’s why chronic diseases are steadily increasing yet healthcare is more advanced than ever.

This isn’t about adding more to your already busy life. It’s about living a life that truly supports and replenishes you so you can show up as a calm, grounded you.
