The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 15 clinical science departments house more than 380 faculty members and 300 residents and fellows. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville. Third-year medical students enrolled at UF spend about 25 percent of their training at the Jacksonville campus, gaining valuable experience in an urban setting. While third-year rotations are only offered to UF students, elective rotations in the final year of clinical training are available to students from accredited schools in the US and Canada. For practicing physicians, the college offers a continuing medical education program that recruits national and international speakers who are well known and respected in their fields. The campus' faculty, residents and fellows are active in clinical research. Residents and fellows regularly present their findings at locations across the country and publish their projects in well-known publications.

We’re embracing the future of AI in academic medicine! The UF Health Science Center – Jacksonville proudly hosted the inaugural UF AI Scholar Days, bringing together experts in medicine, nursing, pharmacy and artificial intelligence to discuss innovative uses of AI in healthcare. The event kicked off with a poster reception showcasing research that could help shape the future of AI in medicine. Presenters also had the opportunity to receive feedback on their work. This was followed up by a full day of dynamic keynote and breakout sessions that inspired new ideas and offered insight into best practices for using AI in medicine and medical education.

Thank you to all faculty, residents, fellows and administrators across the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy for your collaboration and support.
