Cuteness alert! This little one might be a potential future farmer. Dad is a farming operator for Tissington Farm. The Jacksonville Memorial Foundation hosted farm managers, operators, board members & foundation directors for a Farm Committee Mixer at the Morgan County Fair earlier this month. We appreciate the support our farmland team provides for JMH and the community.

If getting your parent or loved one to appointments is a challenge, here's something reassuring: the Senior Life Solutions program at JMH offers transportation coordination and meets just 2–4 days per week. It's structured, supportive care that fits real life. The Senior Life Solutions program is available for individuals 55 and older who are covered by Medicare or a Medicare replacement plan. Save the date! A free community skin cancer screening event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 25, at JMH for people not currently under the care of a dermatologist. We love how our partnership with SIU Medicine improves access to care for patients throughout the communities we serve. Congratulations to Dr. Moore and the team for this exciting milestone!

One week ago, Dr. Cindy Moore of the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery performed the first hypoglossal nerve stimulator procedure using the Inspire device at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.

Expanding specialized care beyond our main Springfield location is an important part of our commitment to improving access for patients throughout the region. This milestone is a great example of how bringing advanced care closer to home benefits the communities we serve.
