Last week we celebrated our incredible team for Employee Appreciation Week… and let’s just say, they understood the assignment! 🎉💙

We laughed, we ate, we dressed up, we competed, we celebrated… and somehow still managed to take amazing care of our patients every step of the way.

IMPORTANT CIGNA CONTRACTING COMMUNICATION

SRB OBGYN would like to make you aware of an important insurance update.

Our practice remains contracted and in-network with Cigna. However, as of June 24, our affiliated delivery hospital is no longer contracted with Cigna while contract negotiations are ongoing.

For patients seeking annual exams, gynecologic care, problem visits, New Patient appointments or other non-obstetrical services, there is no change to your care with our office.

For patients who are currently pregnant, we will continue to provide your prenatal care and pursue Continuity of Care options as appropriate.

For patients who are newly pregnant, we are happy to establish care and begin prenatal services. However, if the hospital and Cigna do not reach an agreement by approximately 16 weeks' gestation, we will need to transfer your obstetrical care to another provider and hospital that participate with your insurance plan.

We are hopeful that an agreement will be reached and will continue to keep patients informed as updates become available! If you have any questions, please call our office and we can help.
