Earlier this month, our Bloomingdale team welcomed Luis Laracuente from Senator Rick Scott’s office to the clinic!

Luis spent time with the team and had the chance to hear directly from patients about their experience with physical therapy. The visit also included an important conversation around the SAFE Act and how physical therapy can help reduce fall risk and keep older adults independent.

Senior Physician Liaison Hannah Chewning shared a special shoutout to Senior Clinic Manager Skyler Burford, PT, DPT, Capp-Pelvic, VC-Cert, Cert-DN, for volunteering her Saturday to connect with our local community alongside one of our area physician offices. Skyler also had the opportunity to connect with our friends and midwives from Heart of Lynchburg Midwifery, including Savannah Fassero, CPM!
