We're Growing | Remote Fixed Wing Flight Coordinator Job Opening
Atlas Air Ambulance is growing, and we’re looking for a Fixed Wing Flight Coordinator to join our team remotely.
This role helps coordinate fixed-wing air medical transports from the first inquiry through mission completion, including working with hospitals, case managers, families, insurance providers, and our clinical and aviation teams. Responsibilities may include preparing transport quotes, assisting with insurance authorizations and Single Case Agreements, coordinating flight logistics, and helping keep each mission moving smoothly from start to finish.
Because medical flights don’t always happen during traditional business hours, schedule flexibility is extremely important in this position. Evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays may be part of the schedule depending on active flights and transport needs.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple moving pieces, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in air ambulance coordination, medical transport, insurance authorization, healthcare transfer centers, or aviation operations is preferred.
