Myth busted:
Not all medications are safe to crush or split. 💊
Some medications have extended-release formulations or special coatings designed to release the drug slowly over time. Most that have a line down the middle is a clear indication that it can be split.
If you are unsure if you can alter a medication, then ask the pharmacy staff. 👨‍⚕️
