Busy optometry practice looking for receptionist. Candidate must have good people skills and experience in the field.

Prefer candidate that knows how to pull and submit vision benefits and has knowledge of optical materials.

Candidate must be familiar with basic equipment including autorefractor, visual field machine. fundus camera and OCT.

Hours Monday to Friday. No weekends.

Paid vacation and sick days.

Busy office looking for a friendly and professional receptionist. Tasks include making appointments, checking in patients, checking voicemails, and performing basic pre-screenings in an optometry office.

Work days and hours:

Monday and Tuesday: 10am - 6pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 10am - 5pm
Friday: 10am to 3pm

Candidate MUST have prior experience in an ophthalmology/optometry office.

Candidate must be familiar with providing customer service such as answering insurance questions, looking up orders from various ophthalmic and contact lens labs, etc.

Requirements:

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines

- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures

- Experience with electronic health record systems

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
