For a man who's run an estimated 41,000 miles, a three-mile walk might not sound like a big goal. For Larry Benke, it means everything.

After changes in his mobility forced the lifelong runner to stop running — and eventually made him hesitant to venture far from home — Larry turned to JRMC. With help from teams across the medical center, he's moving farther, feeling stronger and working toward his own 5K.

The results are in, and the JRMC Specialty Clinics team was MOVING this July!

In honor of America's 250th, the team challenged themselves to get moving with 1,776 as their inspiration.

Their final tally:
👟 877 miles
🏃‍♀️ 5,017 minutes of movement

That's nearly THREE TIMES their 1,776-minute goal!

At JRMC, we're here to keep you moving — and we will be moving right alongside you the whole time.
