What a great morning at Rock Cut State Park Concession! ☀️😎

More than 100 Mercyhealth employee partners, family members and even a few furry friends joined us for our annual Partner Run/Walk at the end of May. With sunshine, warm weather and plenty of smiling faces, it was the perfect day to get outside, get moving and connect with one another.

Hosted by Mercyhealth’s Well-being Committee, the event brought together partners from across our system for a fun and active morning, highlighting the importance of health, wellness and meaningful connections.

Attendees also had the chance to win door prizes, including YMCA trial memberships donated by local YMCA organizations across our communities and a beach day basket.

We love our Project SEARCH Janesville at Mercyhealth interns and we're so proud of all they have accomplished! 💙

We’re back with another inspiring graduation ceremony, this time celebrating the 9 outstanding students who have completed their internships at Project SEARCH Janesville at Mercyhealth.

DWD was proud to join families, program instructors, partners, and supporters to celebrate this incredible milestone and recognize the hard work, dedication, and growth of this year’s graduates! These students received hands-on training and learned critical workforce skills that will help them build a meaningful career.

Programs like this one aren’t possible without the continued support of community partners like program host MercyHealth Hospital and Trauma Center (Mercyhealth Rock County). And many thanks to the School Districts of , , , and . Also, thank you to the Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, TMG Wisconsin, Inclusa, and of course DWD’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for supporting the training and education of each student.

Last week, the Mercyhealth Autism Center–Beloit held a ribbon cutting and open house, inviting families, partners and community members to tour the new facility.
The new space, at 1400 E. Inman Pkwy. Beloit allows Mercyhealth to expand clinic-based applied behavior analysis services for children. Designed with families in mind, the center offers a comfortable, welcoming environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Mercyhealth provides comprehensive and focused treatment to individuals ranging in age from two into young adulthood. It also provides family treatment guidance services to families with children in the program. Thank you to everyone who stopped in to celebrate the new space with us!

Dr. Rohan Mylavarapu and the Mercyhealth Arrhythmia Center recently presented at the American College of Cardiology Annual Scientific Sessions in New Orleans. The study was led by Dr. Imdad Ahmed, System Director of the Mercyhealth Arrhythmia Center, who served as the principal investigator. Dr. Ahmed and his team are continually learning, growing, and advancing their expertise to better support our patients.

Congratulations Gina on receiving a Shield of Excellence Award! 🌟

We’re proud to recognize Gina for her exceptional compassion and advocacy while supporting a family facing sudden financial hardship after both parents unexpectedly lost their jobs. Although the family had a strong history of making payments, the 501‑R policy lookback limits left them with a significant balance that did not qualify for Traditional Charity Care.

Understanding their situation, Gina guided the family toward State assistance resources and encouraged them to apply for programs such as Medicaid and FoodShare. Within a day, the family received approval for both BadgerCare and FoodShare, effective 1/1/26.

Gina immediately recognized this new eligibility as a qualifier for Presumptive Charity Care and quickly applied assistance to the remaining balance—relieving a major financial burden during an already stressful time.

Her empathy, deep program knowledge, and patient centered approach ensured this family received the maximum support available. Gina’s work reflects our organization’s commitment to compassion, equity, and excellence.
