POST 2 of 3: Dining Out With Dementia
Taking a loved one with dementia out to eat? A few things may look different β and that's okay.
They may eat more slowly, or feel unsure about cutlery and prefer fingers. They may want just one simple thing, like a bowl of soup β one spoon, nothing complicated.
None of this is a step backward. It's just a different way of enjoying a meal together.
