We deeply appreciate the partnership we have with the Union Health Foundation that allows us to support their patients and families through music therapy.
Sometimes, the smallest moments mean the most.
A hospital stay or time in hospice can be filled with difficult moments. Music has a way of bringing comfort, connection and even a little joy when it’s needed most.
Through the Katy Cobb Music Therapy Fund at Union Health Foundation, Rhythm Garden Music is bringing music therapy to patients in Oncology Inpatient and the Gibson Hospice Center.
To date, more than 80 patients have received music therapy through this program.
For some, it may be a familiar song that brings back a special memory. For others, it may be a moment of connection with a loved one.
Sometimes, it’s simply a chance to smile, relax or feel a little more like themselves.
These moments may seem small, but for a patient and their family, they can mean everything.
This is the kind of impact the Katy Cobb Music Therapy Fund makes possible—bringing comfort and meaningful moments to patients when they need them most.
