As the kids settle back into the school routine, they’re learning new lessons, making new memories, and getting reacquainted with early mornings and homework! 📚✏️ Along the way, we’re also taking a moment to recognize the teachers who are enjoying retirement. Their dedication, patience, and love for their students have left a lasting impression on so many lives. Though they may no longer be standing at the front of the classroom, the lessons they taught and the memories they created will continue to inspire generations. We’ve decided that sending Judy home is simply not an option… unless she promises to come back with a suitcase full of memories! 😂❤️ She has become such a special part of our St. Charles family, and we’re not quite ready to say goodbye. We may have to start a petition, and officially declare her “too loved to leave!” We will miss her smiles, her laughter, and all the fun she brings to our days. We are so immensely blessed with the amazing community of residents and it’s so easy to say that we love them all! Come back soon, because we still have so many memories to make together! 🥰🏡✨

From Terry sitting behind Carla on the school bus, grabbing his attention as she belted out songs on the radio, their love story is truly something special. Carla stated “it took being asked out 3 times to finally say yes”. Their first date was on a Friday night to the English reunion. She added that the date was great but she still wasn’t convinced that he was the one, (she added with a laugh). After 3 years of dating, they exchanged vows at Wickliffe UM Church on September 1, 1984. Fast forward to 42 years later-2 kids, 1 grandson, countless memories, weathered life’s ups and downs, and continued choosing each other every step of the way. What started as a young love has blossomed into over 4 decades of cherished memories. Here’s to celebrating a lifetime of love—and to many more wonderful years together! 🥂💍❤️

Taking the time to recognize our team’s dedication is one of our favorite things to do. Our August ER3 was filled with great food, exciting prizes, and plenty of fun. We even threw in a balloon-catching game!
